INTRODUCTION
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method facilitates thinking, communication, and problem-solving within a group. The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method is crucial in unlocking the potential for meteoric growth in employees and/or organizations. The idea is to experience a new approach to building high-performance individuals/teams that consist of both “hard” fun and challenging, as well as building skills that can help improve employee performance and adapt to the transformation.
HOW DOES LSP WORK?
1) The facilitator asks a Question. Questions may range from different topics like self-development, organizational development, problem-solving, product development, crisis management, etc. (Example; Build what you think of a successful organization using the Lego Bricks, or Create an idea that would benefit your department or organization using Lego Bricks)
2) Participants build the model using Lego Bricks with a range of THOUSANDS different blocks, different shapes, and colors, participants can create a scenario in their head and make it come to life with the Lego Bricks.
3) Reflect. Participants reflect on their ideas, what each of the bricks represents, and how it reflects on his/her ideas/scenario.
4) Sharing. Participants share their ideas with other participants and vice versa, from there, they derive solutions and combine their Lego Bricks to make the best product from each individual’s idea becoming one powerful Shared Model!
